Client: The Nature Conservancy: Freshwater Conservation
How do you educate the public about the importance of watersheds? Create an interactive module showcasing the seven threats through animation.
As the lead creative collaborating closely with the internal freshwater team, I spearheaded the project from concept, project management, art direction, budgeting, finding the illustrator and animators through final production. I was the liaison between all of these teams.

There were a total of seven modules.
I collaborated with the team to categorize content into threat and strategy, presenting the problem and the solutions TNC is implementing to mitigate them. Our initiative, "Go Deeper," showcases ongoing projects worldwide led by TNC, utilizing our expertise to make a positive impact.

Illustration style
Keep it simple. The illustrations created in 2012 remain relevant today. The chosen style aims to be friendly with a touch of whimsy. Watershed erosion is a serious topic that requires engaging visuals to encourage viewers to explore the entire module and click on "Go Deeper" links for more detailed information on other projects. This module offers a 50-foot view of freshwater conservation.

From conceiving the big idea to storyboarding animation sequences and sourcing external resources for illustrations and animations, to ensure a seamless process. Partnering with a design studio for execution, the project culminated in a significant success for the freshwater team.
