Personal Project: Sacred Space_Adoption Memory Box
When I started my own nonprofit "Paper Lantern: Resource Center for Korean Adoptees" one of the key initiatives I started was the idea of "memory boxes" in which I would gather adult and children together with their families and create a special place to make a box that holds their adoptive journey. This box is a way to communicate with myself in all topics related to our adoption journey as well as a way to share our adoption journey with my friends and family. The key components is to use our adoption papers, to use that as part of the box. Any and all adoption related items goes into this box. I have dones this session with 2 groups of people. I hope to get this back up and running soon.
